2026 Subject Entry Requirements

For A Level subjects, students must achieve:

  • At least five subjects at grade 5 or above including English Literature or Language and Mathematics.
  • Individual course requirements set out in the table below.

For Vocational subjects, students must achieve:

  • At least five subjects at grade 4 or above including English Literature or Language and Mathematics.
  • Individual course requirements set out in the table below.
English BTEC Applied Science
Maths BTEC Enterprise
Psychology BTEC Health and Social Care
Panjabi BTEC Information Technology

If students do not achieve a grade 4 in English or maths, they will be required to continue studying these subjects as part of their Post-16 study programme until they achieve at least a grade 4, in accordance with Department for Education requirements.
